Passed on in Guru-Shishya (master-pupil) teaching format for years, the pedagogy has seen change in recent times where ICT based training is gaining acceptance. A combination of art and science, Hindustani classical music is an ancient yet evolved musical system useful in development and training of human minds of all age, particularly beneficial for young children (10 years and above). This course is meant to be an inner journey and soul searching with lots of interesting and fun filled meaningful activities all along the way. Course entails formal training of vocal music focused in Dhrupad style, ancient most form of Hindustani Classical, which includes developing cognition of melody (Raag) and rhythm (Taal) though it’s building blocks (swar and laya), also lays emphasis on age old breathing (pranayama) and posture (yogic) techniques for calmness and longevity. This course is meant for all skill levels. Beginners are people with no or very limited (less than a year) prior training. Intermediate are people with at least 1-2 years of prior training

Sumeet is a Dhrupad vocalist belonging to Darbhanga tradition. Grand son of (Padmashree) Pandit Siyaram Tiwari and disciple of Pandit Abhay Narayan Mallick, he is a performer, teacher, festival curator and organiser, collaborator, writer and researcher.

He is an empanelled artist of Indian Council of Cultural Relations (I.C.C.R) and he has presented Dhrupad recitals in Berlin, Hague, London, Prague, Budapest and Paris. Besides being a Dhrupad vocalist, Sumeet collaborates with a range of musicians and genres from all over the world. He also puts his research and management experience to the service of music as a festival curator, organiser, thinker, speaker, writer and trainer.
